A Little Bit About Me

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jazmin and I  am an organic chemist living in Toronto, Ontario with my amazing boyfriend Joe.  I have always been healthy, but recently we both decided to change our diets to a more plant-based diet.  Now, we eat a diet composed of 60-70% raw or cooked vegetables with a low consumption of animal proteins and processed foods.  We believe in local, organic food and support our local farmers by attending farmers markets. We have also recently acquired 70 acres of farmland, in which we plan to grow organic vegetables in a means to be self-sufficient and contribute to the local food movement.

I have created this blog to share some creative ways to add more veggies to your daily diet without sacrificing taste or spending too much time in the kitchen.  My goal is to introduce you to as many new veggies as possible and recipes in which they shine.

Enjoy and feel free to contact me using the contact form if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting this blog, and I do hope to you will return soon for regular updates.
